The audience for our media is people over the age of 15,as our film will contain some violent scenes. before we made a certificate for the film we had to be certain on who our audience would be,therefore we carried out a questionnaire to a variety of different age groups asking them about the types of films they are interested in. we found that many males from the ages of 15+ were interested in thriller action-packed films,we also found that they weren't into films which contained romance and love,but mainly fast,action packed scenes.
Therefore,we decided to have an action based thriller with the main plot involving terrorism as we knew this would be popular as it is a recent issue and also it would contain realism.
we also looked in depth at the representation of the main character.
