Sound

Sound is used extensively in film making. there are two main types of sound used,
Diegetic sound and non Diagetic sound.
Diegetic sound is sound that can be heard by the audience as well as the characters. this can be a phone ring,or a characters dialogue,or a door bell ring.we used diagetic sound at the end when the main character is talking on the phone.

Non-Diegetic sound is sound that the audience can hear but not the characters themselves.it is also called commentary sound. this can be sound such as soundtrack,narrators commentry or sound effects. we used soundtrack to build an atmostphere.
